Kyu (“Q”) Cho was born in South Korea and raised in Dallas, Texas. As an immigrant himself, Kyu has a deep pride, respect, and appreciation for the American Dream.
Kyu has a native fluency in Korean and is currently learning Spanish because he is privileged to represent many clients from the Latin American community in the Greater Dallas area.
While attending law school, Kyu was a member of the Moot Court Board and President of the Immigration Law Society. He also served as Student Advocate for his law school’s Immigration Law Clinic and has had previous successes in obtaining asylum for his clients.
Kyu has diverse experience representing clients in both the public and private sectors in multiple areas of law including debt collection, foreclosures, public procurement, personal injury, labor law, and immigration law.
Immigration law, however, is the area of law that Kyu feels the most passionate about. Kyu couples his own experience as an immigrant in the early 1990s with his broad range of legal skills, in order to better understand and identify with his clients and to help them with their uniquely specific immigration matters.
In his free time, Kyu enjoys participating in church activities, watching his two young boys grow up, and spending time with his family.
